We'd like you to meet Wetunga Yasumini, a 12-year old P5 student (that is the equivalent of Grade 5 in the U.S.) at Kikongo Island Primary School.  She lives in the village of Bwanzi, located on Buvuma Island.

Yasumini has attended Kikongo School for 2 years and her favorite subject is Math.  She hopes to be a doctor when she grows up.

In her spare time, Yasumini enjoys playing "netball," which is the Ugandan version of basketball.
